wordle: Today’s Wordle #424: Word Puzzle Tip, Answer August 17

It’s the middle of the week and you have today’s Wordle to solve. Although you will have to think hard to determine the solution, we are here to help you with clues. Wordle is a popular game that appeared on the scene during the lockdown period. A Welsh software engineer, Josh Wardle, created the game for his wife to kill her time during the lockdown period. However, the game became such a hit that The New York Times decided to acquire it.

Wordle also inspired other similar games like Heardle and Quordle.

Simplicity is what makes Wordle such a popular choice among gamers. You can access the game only on the NYT website through browsers on your desktop or mobile computer. The game actively discourages addiction by allowing you to play the game only once a day, unlike other word games that keep you hooked for hours on end.

How to play Wordle?

Wordle has simple gameplay. You can access Wordle using the link on your desktop or mobile phone. You will get a grid of six slots of five blocks each in the game.

You can start playing the game by simply entering your first five-letter word. As you type, the word appears within five blocks of the first slot. You get six attempts to guess the correct word for the day.

If the letters you type belong to the correct word, w will highlight them in yellow, and if they are in the correct positions, they will turn green.

You win the game when all five blocks of a slot machine turn green. You lose if all the blocks don’t turn green within six tries. If you lose, the system will give you the correct answer for the day.
