For those of us who like cooler temperatures, this morning is awesome. The humidity has dropped and the cooler nights mean the windows can be opened. According to the State College National Weather Service, today and Saturday will be sunny with a high temperature of 80 degrees. Overnight lows for the next few days will remain below 60 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and a high temperature of 77 degrees. On Monday, showers are likely with a high of 73 degrees.
Like the weather, gasoline prices have fallen. The national average, according to AAA, is less than $4 per gallon at $3.97. In Pennsylvania, the average is still above $4 to $4.30 per gallon. But, according to AAA, demand is lagging despite falling prices.
