Solving a Wordle puzzle can be a challenge for newcomers and veteran players alike, fortunately. Newsweek has some tips and tricks for those who need a little help.
wordle is a daily puzzle game in which players use a color-coded system to find the correct five-letter word in six tries or less.
If a player has the correct letter in the correct place the tile will turn green, when the letter is in the word but in the wrong place it will turn yellow and gray when not in the word.
Some wordle the puzzles leave players scratching their heads.

Ssoftware engineer Josh Wardle created wordle and made the game available to the public in October 2021.
It quickly grew from a modest player base of just 90 people to a global phenomenon with 45 million daily users.
In January of this year, Wardle sold the game to The New York Times for an undisclosed seven-figure sum and has been hosted by the outlet since February.
The Statista graph above shows wordlethe rapid growth of its popularity in just a few months.
Wordle has since inspired many everyday puzzle games, including map-inspired Worldle and math-based Nerdle.
